Skip this posting unless you are searching for infomation about a recruiting scam

If you found this post via an internet search, then don’t spend money on Agile Scrum training and certification to get a job interview. To interview for a Project Manager position at Dell, you need to take a Scrum Certification class, which feels like a scam. I was contacted (from 702 867 4101) by recruiters who seemed to be from India. They claimed they found my resume on Indeed, but I don’t share my resume openly there, which raised my first red flag. 🇲🇦 Their website, Axis Staffing Services, lists an address provided by virtual office spaces, suggesting it might be a fake business address: Opus Virtual Offices in Henderson, NV.

🇲🇦 When I searched Google all the information on the Axis Staffing Services, the first hit was a LinkedIn article about employment phising scams.

🇲🇦 When I did a who is lookup the site was registered on May 7th, 2024, less than 7 days ago.

Here is the part of the email thread from the scammers after I spoke with them on the phone about having to register for certification before the first interview. We ended the call with him telling me he would send me two acceptable class and test to get certified:

Thanks, Eric,

I am very interested in this position and will start studying for Scrum Certification today. I have studied Scrum before, and seeing as it is a requirement for this position, I will brush up on it so I can speak to it during an interview.

Best regards,
